"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." We treat every pet that enters the studio as we would want our own pets to be treated. Our goal is to give your pet a professional bath and groom using the
highest quality products and equipment without compromising your pet's
comfort or health.
Our owner and dog groomer, Amy Brown, has a true understanding of your canine companion! Along with professional grooming, Amy also has experience as a veterinary technician and has worked with cats and dogs for more than 23 years. After working in a busy groom shop, she decided she wanted to focus more on 'quality' work than 'quantity'. She created her own private grooming business to better accommodate special need clients and offer the ability to give each client her undivided attention. Her studio is set in a calm and relaxing atmosphere and is stocked with only professional equipment. All grooming products used are tailored to each individual pet's skin and coat needs using only the best for your pet!
Amy is also a winning competitive groomer. She has placed in breed
profile grooming, mixed breed grooming, and creative grooming. She has participated in charity grooming events nationally and locally, including Coosa Fest 2008 right here in Childersburg.
By competing nationally and attending grooming seminars, Amy continues
her education in grooming, skin and coat care, and pet first aid as well as continuing to pursue her certification in dog grooming through IPG
is always aware of the latest products, equipment, and techniques.
In addition to operating her grooming business, Amy serves as the president of the National Association of Professional Creative Groomers, www.TheNAPCG.com
While Amy grooms the dogs, her daughter, Kelcie Brown, grooms the cats! She is one of only two Certified Feline Master Groomer's in the state and graduated from the only cat-exclusive grooming school in the world, http://nationalcatgroomers.com/school
. Her credentials also include a membership with the National Cat Groomer's Institute of America, as well as a cat CPR/first aid certification through the Red Cross of America. Her unique training has given her the ability to safely handle and efficiently groom nearly any cat without sedation.
Cats are very different than dogs and thus have different grooming requirements. Make sure your cat looks and feels its best by bringing it to a top qualified cat groomer!
